Who We Are
City & Police Federal Credit Union is different from other financial institutions because it is owned by the members who save and borrow here. The credit union was chartered in 1935 to give our members an economic advantage over the service they could receive from other financial institutions. Members are united by common bonds and democratically operate the credit union. Members elect from among themselves the volunteers to serve on the Board of Directors, which sets the policies and establishes bylaws for the credit union. The job of running the day-to-day operation of the credit union is delegated to professional staff. After deducting expenses and funds for reserves, credit union income is returned to the members as dividends on savings, as lower interest on loans, and/or as free or low-cost special services.

Mission Statement

Provide the best possible ongoing financial services to our defined, unique and exclusive membership through a not for profit, member owned democratically managed and fiscally sound financial institution.
